Ok y'all. If you didn't already know- I am originally a southern girl. Yep. I grew up in Georgia. As kids we used to walk down to the gas station from our house that used to sell 50 cent BBQ sandwiches. I was obsessed with these beautiful little sandwiches. So GOOD. So as you can see, I love BBQ related anything. I am big on making my own BBQ sauce cause I don't love everyone's BBQ sauce- believe me, they can truly vary in flavor. Some of them are just way too sweet for me. So I like making my own, so I can control the flavors. I know buffalo dip was all the rage there for a moment so I thought I'd try and make a BBQ dip for all the people out there who are like me, that love BBQ sauce ;) The toppings on this dip are important to me, because it really balances everything out. Red onions always are necessary when it comes to BBQ chicken pizza, so I didn't leave them out of this. Pickles are key also for me, cause ya can't have BBQ without a dang pickle! Ya feel me? And jalapenos because come on now- do you know me? Ha! Ya girl loves a spicy situation. I just do. SO yeah. They went on here as well. And like spicy, my love for ranch runs real deep. So yeah. A drizzle of ranch on top. Ranch and BBQ sauce are best friends. Trust me. The flavors work so well together cause they balance each other out. *Reminder that everyone’s air fryer is different. *Makes 10. Gochujang Chicken Crispy Rice ✨Back with another crispy rice recipe that you gotta try 😍especially for those of you who don’t love seafood, this is using chicken instead and it’s SO good!
Perfect NYE app or game day snack or you can make this as a really nice appetizer for your Valentine’s Day Dinner or to share at a Galentine’s party. Or for anytime honestly 😉 *If you prefer seafood you can definitely swap salmon for the chicken. Either way I just hope y’all give this a try and enjoy it as much as we did! ◽️Gochujang Chicken topping:
▫️Crispy rice: 1 cup Sushi Rice (dry) 1 tbsp Rice vinegar 1.5 tsp Sugar or monkfruit Pinch of salt
*Filling makes enough for about six crispy rice, depending on the amount you put on each one. Assemble your crispy rice by topping it with the chicken mixture and I added a drizzle of eel sauce on top, sesame seeds and jalapeño. Instead of the usual crispy wonton outside, I used crispy rice as the base 😍 Also! if you missed my other crispy rice recipe from last week, definitely check that one out too! I hope y’all enjoy ✨
Crab topping: 5-6 oz cream cheese (room temp) 4 imitation crab sticks (chopped) 1 tsp worcestershire 1/2 tsp soy sauce 1/2 tsp sesame oil 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp sugar of choice 2 tbsp green onions (chopped) -Stir everything together and then place 1-2 tbsp on top of each crispy rice.
