mohawk bendOh my lovely Mohawk Bend. I am so glad I discovered you. I constantly crave this place. First of all- If your a beer drinker. This place is absolutely amazing on it's own, just for that. Longest beer menu I've ever seen. And I've tried quite a few ;) Their delicious. Now their food is unreal! They have vegan pizzas on the menu, non vegans ones for your non vegan friends. A real crowd pleaser! They also have a special menu for Meatless Mondays. Amazing! Not to mention they have life music weekly. Oh and a cute little vintage photo booth.

favorite take out spot.that would go to the one and only THAI VEGAN in Santa Monica on Main. My boyfriend & I have an addiction. And it's to this place when I don't want to cook. I love this place. Not to mention the people who work there are super nice. The prices are very good as well. Plus it's right across from Urth Caffe, so you can go get a matcha latte before or after ;) I usually order the spicy tofu brown rice. It's my favorite- and my boyfriend, who isn't vegan- always gets the chow mien. He loves it. The photo to the right is of their rice paper wrap with tofu fried rice inside and peanut dipping sauce. Loved it for lunch one day! |

favorite raw food restaurant.LifeFood Organic. Hands down. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Can't tell you how much. It's insane what they do with raw food. It's seriously so good. To me, they have the best raw pizza in town. Yep, I said it. Their taquitos & green burrito are also amazing. And um, their desserts? yea, awesome. Try this place for real!

cafe gratitudeWhether your in Venice or Hollywood, doesn't matter. Just go! This place is by far my Number One Vegan restaurant in all of L.a. What wins me over is the flavor. Everything is so flavorful. Also you get to chose if you'd like a raw meal or cooked. And I love options. Another tiny factor is, everything is organic ! Wow. They really go above and beyond to bring the best ingredients in to their restaurant. and for that I love them!

This place has been a long time favorite of mine. You can chose between 2 locations, in Hollywood or Santa Monica. This place is THE BEST to me when it comes to vegan breakfast. You can get a vegan breakfast burrito, scramble, or even chilaquiles. Also serves soy lattes in big latte mugs. Mhmm. |

Pretty sure this is the only place. And if it's not, it's the only one who does it right. Just take a look at their website. It's absolutely ridiculous. They come up with the most unique and beautiful sushi rolls. They also make it a really big deal when it's your birthday there, so if it's yours... I think this would be a great option to have dinner. Such nice people! |

You may wonder, why I chose here. I know compared to other places this is a 'chain vegan restaurant'. But my question back is, have you been? This place is seriously so good. It's like a healthy McDonald's in a way. It's a bit of a mix of fast food, with home-y food. I love that! They have 'dinner plates' as well as your typical burger with fries. My point here is- if you haven't been, then do yourself a favor and go try it out! There are lots of locations! |
