Whats your name?
Celina aka The Visual Veggie!

Any nick name or one you wish you had?
Hmm, I've had quite a few in my life but my favorites are Celine-bean or Cellerina.

Where do you live?
Los Angeles, CA!
But where are you really from?
East coast! NYC, then Connecticut.

Who or What inspired you to begin your healthy lifestyle/ or have you always been healthy?
My mom raised me with a love for vegetables, but it wasn't until my health took a turn for the worst that I truly started my health journey!

What are your favorite places to eat?
Oh boy...Sage Vegan Bistro in Culver City or Cafe Gratitude.

Drink of choice?
MATCHA (or water)

Foods you eat on a daily basis? (ie. Breakfast/Lunch/DInner):
Always try and get a serving of greens in breakfast (baby spinach/kale), mostly always roasted cauliflower and sweet potatoes too. When cooking at home, I always try to have a colorful plate, with veggies being at the center, and adding on legumes/grains/sauces.

Snack/Treat:
Honey Mama's lavender rose chocolate or one of my bliss bite recipes!

Shy or outgoing?
Outgoing! But may appear shy if you don't know me.

Hobbies /Other interests?
Love drawing, traveling, hiking, exploring new museums (or old ones!)

Disneyland or Universal Studios?
TBH, I like the rides at Universal more!

Favorite Movie?
I'm a big film buff, so this is a hard one. Probably

Favorite TV show?
I have a few - The Office, Parenthood, Game of Thrones. Yes, the randomest combinations I know!

Favorite Color?
BLUE!

What is your favorite season?
Early autumn, or spring on the East coast.

Favorite vegetable ?
Broccoli

Favorite place to visit?
Tokyo, Japan!

What has been your best vacation to date?
My first time in Japan, visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima.

Favorite Singer or Band?
Really love everything that Glass Animals does!

Favorite Song (or songs- cause this is a ridiculous question) ?
So hard. I do love 'Yellow' by Coldplay...and 'Sweet Child O' Mine' by Guns N Roses for karaoke, duh!

Favorite recipe you make?
Zucchini bread, mushroom fries, or any of my raw bars.

Favorite Food?
SPICY INDIAN FOOD. Okra, saag, aloo ghobi, dal...

Sweet or Savory?
As I grow older, so does my sweet tooth...

What do you like to do for exercise?
Hiking or yoga, or brisk nature walks!

Any particular skin care regimen ?
Wash face 2x a day with cleanser, and always tone with apple cider vinegar on a cotton pad! Then I use a drying spot cream at night.

Night Owl or Early Bird?
Definitely an Early Bird!

Any advice you’d like to give someone who thinks it’s hard or expensive to eat healthy?
If you reach for fresh produce more than you reach for the 'healthy' processed products at the grocery store, you will spend less. You'd be surprised how much kale you can buy for a few dollars people! Also, frozen fruits/veggies/grains are incredible ways to save while not compromising on nutrients.

Favorite quote?
Every flower must grow through dirt.

Who or what motivates you ?
My younger brother, who recently passed away. I want to live my life as fully and presently as possible because he did not have the ability to.

Any natural remedies you swear by?
A good night's sleep! And apple cider vinegar or celery juice before eating to limit stomach discomfort.

Whats one of your favorite things about life?
The constant beauty of nature - every sunrise, sunset, plant, ocean, etc! And our ability as humans to tune into those powerful sources.

Proudest moment?
Summiting Half Dome in Yosemite!

Any final words you'd like to share?
Although I love creating healthy recipes, the key to a 'healthy lifestyle' is so much more than diet. Over the past few years I've learned that the mind x body connection is extremely important. Even taking a few moments throughout the day to pause, be grateful, and show yourself some love will add up in the most positive of ways.
