Tuesday meanssssss: cookies.
Correction: everyday means cooooookies. Also everyday includes peanut butter...and chocolate... so this is what happens when you mix all of those things together. Banana 'Snickers' Cookies.. super easy to make. Only need one bowl. And in no time you’ll be enjoying some delicious cookies. Bananas turning brown ? Even better! Don’t throw them away just yet. Recipe by The Daily Kale Ingredients: Dry: 2 cups almond flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 scoop protein powder @foursigmatic Pinch of cinnamon Pinch of salt 2.5 tbsp golden monkfruit or coconut sugar 4 tbsp cacao powder Wet: 2 bananas 1 chia egg (or regular) 3 tbsp maple syrup (@choczero) 2 tbsp peanut butter 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted) Chocolate drizzle: 1/4 cup @lilys_sweets chocolate chips 2-3 tsp nut pods creamer Peanut butter caramel center: 2 tbsp peanut butter 3 tbsp maple syrup 1 tbsp @nutpods creamer 1/4 -1/2 cup chopped peanuts for edges (optional) Directions: For the cookies: In a food processor combine all wet ingredients and blend until smooth and combined. In a bowl stir together all dry ingredients. Add the wet mixture to the dry and stir until combined. Place bowl in fridge for 20-30 minutes or until the dough is easy to handle. With your hands roll into balls and press into chopped peanuts then flatten out into a cookie shape.Take a measuring spoon and press into the center of each cookie or use your finger to make an indention. Makes ten cookies. Bake for 17-20 minutes at 350. To make caramel sauce just stir everything together in a bowl until smooth and creamy. To make chocolate drizzle - use a double boiler method and stir the chocolate and creamer together until smooth. Wait for cookies to cool to add the caramel in the center and drizzle on the chocolate
