At this point... everyone’s got their own way of making chia jam. It’s nothing new.
But I just thought I’d share the way I make it with you I also added a new Reel on instagram showing a step by step of how I did it. So you can check that out here if you prefer a video!
What you’ll need:
1/2- 3/4 cup frozen blueberries (or berry of choice)
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp golden monkfruit (or sweetener of choice)
3 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp unsweetened coconut shreds
1-2 tsp water (see notes)
Warm blueberries in a pan for 5-10 minutes. Until soft. In a bowl add all the rest of the ingredients and stir.
Place in blender and blend.
*If it needs a little help blending add 1-2 tsp of water.
You don’t need much, just enough to get it to come together.
Store in a mason jar in the fridge.
I made this upgraded version of an open faced Pb & J I added peanut butter, hemp seeds and more coconut all on top of gluten free bread. Enjoy!
