I don't know about you... but I really love creating. When I say that, I mean it in all aspects. But obviously creating recipes. If your not into it, I hope you'll at least try it out. I'm not noe of those people who sit back and just let others create for me and go about my business. No no. My business is creating. I LOVE IT. I love art in all forms. But now on to what this post is really about. The post title is REAL. and I'm about to let you in on it. I have been loving banana bread for not very long, I'll admit. I love morning pastries & donuts, don't get me wrong. But I've never ventured into the banana bread realm really. Never sounded great or bad. But I tried a vegan/gluten free banana bread recently and was blown away. It was however, kinda dry & way to sweet for my liking. ( I really don't like sweet stuff that much.) If you've read my dessert recipes before, I'm pretty sure you understand that. So look, if you love sugar, then this might not be for you. But it is FOR ME. And that is why, I do this. Cause I'm sick of having to go with the normal recipes for desserts & cakes, etc that ALWAYS have sugar, coconut sugar, blah blah, loads of agave. NO! I'm putting an end to this. Because to me, it's excessive. Like bananas are sweet enough, are they not? Call me crazy- but um, a banana is freaking sweet. I have seen people dip bananas in sugar and I am BAFFLED AT WHY they do this. Totally unnecessary. And I grew up drinking gallons of Mnt. Dew, so believe me- it has nothing to do with anything else besides, I guess, your taste buds. But hey- my heart does not like a lot of sweets all at once. And when I say sweets, I mean like 1 banana in my smoothie- yeah, thats right. I put only half. I get shaky. Sugar is crack ya'll! Lol. On that note, heres a lovely recipe for banana bread ;) No but really, in all seriousness. I'm proud of this recipe :) No added sugar. Just good ole' natural sugar. Like bananas and maple syrup & dark cacao nibs:) CHOCOLATE WALNUT BANANA BREAD

And THEN... E N J O Y. I will be enjoying this today, yes. But even more so for breakfast with some coffee. MHMMMM.

a tip for you. It looks delicious. If you will let those bananas become dead ripe and I mean dead ripe, they will mash easily and their natural sweetness come out more. It makes the banana bread so moist. Just an old timer's trick .
